Introduction: The RealmSpire

Before the existence of man and beast, a great immortal war raged – that which formed the essence of Endarik-Veles. From the tallest towers of the Spires of Citadels Trithdrusil and Tryndledown, to the final resting place of Gorblaste the Wicked in the Vast Great Gha’diamic Desert, across the Ue’arie Sea to Hyetal, the home of the great engineering Palagic Dwarves, and to the industrious goblin civilization of Kob’een Glod in the Southeastern seas – legends tell of the rise and fall of gods and men. Mothers whisper warnings to their children of imperiled ventures to Techlonia and bards sing of the mysterious people of Iss-Kotoyu. In this world of powerful magic and steadfast courage, created by both struggles and triumphs, great heroes still clash with the bastions of darkness to drive back shadow and fortify the light.

RealmSpire.com is the home page for a custom campaign setting for Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder Roleplaying Games.

Originally intended to be an overlay setting to the existing "Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms" (D&D 3.5) campaign world, and set around the year 1375 DR (Dale Reckoning), prior to the "Spell Plague" of 1385 DR. The goal of this site was to collect and organize material created for our non-cannon Forgotten Realms campaign world, while maintaining as much of the original as possible. This focus has since changed and we are now in the process crafting our own custom setting, set on the planet of Endarik-Veles.

Endarik-Veles is an Earth-sized planet dominated by a large continent in its northern hemisphere as well as a number of other large landmasses scattered about its surface. This northern continent is called Dardnul in the west, Iss-Katoyu in the east, and there is Mandalithia across the sea to its south.

Endarik-Veles has three satellites, Theia - The Largest moon and furthest away appears to be only two times the size of Eklion but is actually half the size of Endarik-Veles and gleams white in the light of Cael-Draak. Then there is ringed Eklion – it is a green and blue moon resembling Endarik-Veles itself, having lush vegetation and vast oceans and is thought to have been once a planet itself that was captured by the combined gravity of Theia and Endarik-Veles and nestled into orbit between the two. Lastly is Meliae – The Red Strider, is smallest and fastest to cross sky. A red moon it orbits Endarik-Veles in just eighteen hours and can often be seen during the day.

In addition to the moon, there are eight visible planets that wander against the star-misted sky. They are rufescent Pearin, green twins Esmereld and Veridusious, blue Ajur, amethyst Aniline, ringed Halo, peculiar looking Toll, and sabot-shaped Hara’pathis. All follow regular paths around the sun. The stars are distant and eternal, and form themselves into patterns and constellations that each culture names according to its own desires.

Currently, most of our material is organized using a Google Sites hosted page and is not public however below is an introduction to world of Endarik-Veles. We hope you enjoy it. The Birth of a Macrocosm

Lowly beings have only heard the most whispered rumors of how Endarik-Veles came to be. Of how the great dragon god, Paragein, along with his mate and progeny, both good and evil, formed the planes of existence that both encompass and emanate from the RealmSpire, that from which all magic courses.

The RealmSpire, the First Father, creator and destroyer, sends visions through its gods and goddesses to a pious young cleric capable of penning a tome that will instruct the steps required to overcome the most powerful of the Lords of Deluge…the great dragon deity, Karnellorom.
